The role of door supervisors in venues gaining or retaining their licenses

A recent news story serves as a reminder of the important role door supervisors can play in bars, pubs and clubs retaining or renewing their licences to sell alcohol. Police and councils are increasingly seeing SIA licensed door supervisors as key in helping venues tackle antisocial behaviour linked to alcohol.

A bar in Scarborough was handed a strict list of licensing conditions after police blamed it for contributing to alcohol related violence in the town. Key conditions included a minimum of two SIA licensed door supervisors in place at weekends and an additional door supervisor per 100 people. Police could also ask for additional door supervisors on special occasions, such as bank holidays and large sporting events.

Our door supervisors are SIA licensed and trained to the highest standard. They will create a safe environment where customers can enjoy themselves. We provide door supervisors all over London and the South East. Door supervisors are the first people customers encounter when entering a venue and our smart, professional and approachable staff will create a good first impression as well as being a reassuring presence for both customers and staff.  If you wish to discuss your needs please contact us.

I have no hesitation in recommending Fortus Security. Since Fortus have taken over the security for the Anaya in Mayfair it has been clear that our incidences have dramatically decreased.

They liaise regularly with the West End licensing...
